Lindsay Lohan Family Keeps “Bad Influences” Away

Lindsay Lohan’s friend and family are reportedly determined to keep the actress away from “bad influences” like her pal Courtenay Semel. According to a source close to the Lohan family, everyone is worried that 28-year-old Semel is not setting a good example.

“They are all just leeches, and they are trying to drag Lindsay down and use her for fame,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Lindsay is set to make guest appearances on her mom’s new reality show “Living Lohan.” The 21-year-old’s younger sister Ali Lohan, 14, will be a regular on the show. Ali recently admitted that she wants to be famous just like Lindsay.

LINDSAY LOHAN LOSES MODELING CONTRACT

It seems that the old adage 'out with the old and in with the new' doesn't apply to Lindsay Lohan. Apparently she's being dropped as the face of fashion label Jill Stuart, and replaced by older horsey-faced actress Hilary Swank. Which means Li-Lo now has plenty of time to focus on her 'music'.

Apparently poor Lindsay Lohan doesn't have the right image for the brand, after her previous DUI conviction, allegedly being in possession of cocaine, getting her breasts out and, let's not forget, appearing in 'I Know Who Killed Me'.

A source close to the designer said:

“Jill wanted to go for a celebrity to make her fashion line more high profile. But after everything Lindsay has been through over the last year, she doesn’t feel it would be right for her to represent the line."

“She thinks Hilary Swank would be the ideal choice because she is that little bit older, and incredibly well respected in the acting industry.”

Lindsay is well respected too, and she's won more razzies than Hilary has Oscars...

Lohan's Dad Happy Lindsay Won't Appear In Family Reality Show

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael has applauded his daughter’s decision to stay away from mom Dina’s new reality TV show - because the project won’t help her make it as a serious actress.

Lohan won’t appear in the new U.S. show, which will debut on the E! cable network this summer (08), and her dad is convinced that’s the right call.

The actress recently told Life & Style magazine, "I don’t know much about it (TV show)."

And Michael, who has reconciled with his famous daughter after a period of estrangement from the family, says, "If she did decide to make an appearance on the show, then I’m behind her. But she needs to decide if she’s a serious actress or a reality TV personality."

Instead, the show will focus of mom Dina’s efforts to turn the Mean Girls actress’ kid sister Ali into a star.

LINDSAY LOHAN WANTS TO BE THE NEXT KYLIE

Instead of just getting on with 'the acting', Lindsay Lohan is bringing out another album. But worse than that, she reckons she'll be as big as Rihanna or Kylie - WTF?

The actress, who already hurt more than a few eardrums with her yelpy teenage albums 'Speak' (no, just don't) and 'A Little More Personal' (again, just don't) told People magazine that she wants her third offering to be more dancey to showcase the new Lindsay.

Oh. Sweet. Jesus.

"My inspiration is Kylie Minogue-meets-Rihanna," said Lindsay.

"I think the past is the past and it should be kept there. It's a new slate for me, and I want to show that in my new record."

Yeah yeah, that's really nice that you've changed and all that but does anyone really want to hear a watered-down Kylie impersonator guffing on about her new life? That's the new life where she sips cammomile tea and tries to flog her little sister off on us?

Apparently she's somehow managed to talk Ne-Yo into working on the album, so expect some of the most incipid music since Paris Hilton's 'Stars Are Blind'.

Lord help us. GIVE IT UP, WOMAN!
